Finally getting a chance to watch Life from Above (streaming on PBS) with Kyle. Simply stunning cinematography. Brings back memories of watching Blue Planet together when the boys were younger.

In the Homeschool Alliance we’ve been talking about the role of wonder in our kids’ lives. Shows like this are such a good reminder of how remarkable our world is and give us a completely different sense of scale of the world and our place in it.

Kyle and I were talking about the creative vision that went into creating this show. It’s not like it has a plot and characters to follow yet the visual storytelling and themes are so powerful. To be able to create that from essentially nothing but an idea is truly a thing of beauty. A good reminder of how remarkable we humans can be when we want to be.
