Why, yes, I did just completely redesign my blog for no reason after months of no posting, other than the fact that it was fun and I enjoyed it. One of the reasons that I chose to go with hosting my blog at Squarespace was because I love the template options. It is just the right balance of control vs ease of use. You don't have to be overly technical to be able to completely customize your look and they are constantly coming out with new options (all of which are mobile friendly).

I'm a bit worried that I am going to miss the white space from the old template, but also excited to highlight more of my photos and this template feels more dynamic to me. I'm still in the process of cleaning things up a bit, tweaking photos here and there and especially the right-brained learning information which I am working on figuring out how best to update and organize.

I find that I am using the blog differently lately...less as a place to capture day-to-day happenings (that tends to happen more on Facebook) and more to capture bigger ideas that I want to process a bit. But with over 10 years of content, I am also happy to realize that there are many posts that still seem to have relevancy even now and I tend to link to them as part of larger homeschool discussions. So I am in the process of trying to pull out and re-organize things to make them easier to find.  Which in my weird, left-brained, geeky way I am completely enjoying!

Please let me know what you think, either here or on Facebook. If there is anything that seems to be more difficult to find, let me know. I tried to simplify the menu options a bit, while including more links on the homepage to help folks find their way.

Hope that you enjoy it as much as I have!
