A Bit of Housekeeping

I have a confession to make. I've been indulging my left-brained, book lover geek side by reorganizing my book recommendation page. In truth I have been having way more fun with this than I probably should have and got a bit carried away.

Support Stripped: The Comics Documentary!

We love comics around here. Webcomics, comic books, graphic novels, you name it. I remember growing up with so many favorites…GarfieldFamily CircusBloom CountyB.C.Beetle BaileyHi and LoisDick Tracy and yes, even Nancy. Of course, my all-time favorite comic was Peanuts. I not only read it religiously in the newspaper, but collected the books and absolutely devoured them. I still have many of the books, although they have now yellowed with age. I am just not willing to give them up

Listening in the Car

One of the great habits we have fallen into is listening to audio books in the car, no matter how short the trip (this saves me from having to argue about whose music or radio station to listen to and keeps us all happy). I have different books that we are listening to, depending on who is in the car (thank goodness for my favoriate all time app, Bookmark).

Weekend Reading - July 25th

OK, so I am cutting it close, but it is still the weekend. And if you are on the east coast, most likely you are looking for some indoor stuff to do as we are being hit by a pretty substantial heat wave. Here in Ocean City, we have been in the high 90s with the heat index near 105. Back home in Virginia they have been hit even harder with temps in the low 100s and heat indices even higher.
