Welcome!

I am a liberal-minded homeschool mom who is constantly trying to find that elusive state of balance in my life while enjoying my two energetic, yet vastly different boys.

Our wisdom is all mixed up with what we call our neurosis. Our brilliance, our juiciness, our spiciness, is all mixed up with our craziness and our confusion, therefore it doesn’t do any good to try to get rid of our so-called negative aspects, because in that process we also get rid of our basic wonderfulness.

Throwing Marshmallows?

    Quiet Week

Well, quiet online anyways! Not June and her 3 boys are coming tomorrow for a 3 day visit. I have a sneaking suspicion that having five boys 11 years and younger under one roof (especially the one here at the beach which is much smaller than at home!)  is not going to be very quiet in real life. But I can guarantee that it will be interesting!

Plus Squarespace just released Version 5 which has some awesome new features (3 columns! Top menus!  New improved interface! And more!) that I want to take advantage of. The flexibility and options in the new release look amazing. So I think I will be tweaking and playing around with my template a little bit.

So if I seem a bit quiet, that is why!
