Politics I am a liberal-minded homeschool mom who is constantly trying to find that elusive state of balance in my life while enjoying my two energetic, yet vastly different boys.
I am also a featured author over at Life Without School. Come check us out!

Today was fun...spent about five hours helping out at the polls. There were lines early, but no lines throughout most of the day. I was a little worried about that as we were really depending on high turnout. What was reassuring is that we had over 50% of the registered voters vote before noon.
The boys had fun checking on the returns with us as the evening went on. Kyle really liked coloring in the states as they were called.
Still can't believe that Virginia turned blue! Off to watch Barack's victory speech...

Today is a good day for America!
We can ALL breathe again. Hooray!
I know! I am still reeling from the image of blue Virginia on the map! :-) And yes, I've breathed a bit easier since 11:00 last night.
