Welcome!

I am a liberal-minded homeschool mom who is constantly trying to find that elusive state of balance in my life while enjoying my two energetic, yet vastly different boys.

Our wisdom is all mixed up with what we call our neurosis. Our brilliance, our juiciness, our spiciness, is all mixed up with our craziness and our confusion, therefore it doesn’t do any good to try to get rid of our so-called negative aspects, because in that process we also get rid of our basic wonderfulness.

Beach Tip #1

I figure that while we are here in Ocean City this summer, I should pass on tips that make life at the beach a bit easier. I got this tip from my Dad's wife, Dawn.  It has been a huge help in keeping the sand at bay and is so incredibly simple...one of those things that makes you wonder why you did not think of it.

Beach Tip #1: How to Decrease the Sand in Your Car

Put a sheet down on the area of your car where you pack your beach gear. It will catch the sand and allow you to easily remove most (although not all) of it by simply gathering the sheet up.

Simple and easy! Your car will thank you!
